    1. The water requirement of Beema bamboo is 182 cubic meter per ton. The annual water requirement for our bamboo is equivalent to that of sugarcane and banana which is 2000 mm.
Please note that, at present the Rice production consumes 4000 cubic meter of water to produce 1 Ton of Biomass.

    1. "Beema” is a specially bred variety by Dr.N.Barathi of Growmore Biotech Ltd., which has a potential to grow very fast and yields very high biomass since the wall thickness of “Beema” Bamboo is 3 times more than other bamboo. Beema bamboo a fastest growing plant, growing at a speed of 1.5 feet a day reaches a height of 35 feet in two and a half years.

Our Beema bamboo is cultivable, thorn less and sterile. Unlike normal bamboo, Beema bamboo does not produce seeds(sterile) and hence it never dies. Once our Beema bamboo plant is planted, it will keep growing for several decades with no more replanting.

Under intensive cultivation with the population of 1000 plants per acre, the harvesting and biomass yield starts from two and a half years at 30 tons per acre and increases to 40 tons in the next year and stabilizes at 50 tons from 5th year onwards.

Please go through your mail for further information.

    1. Thank you for your interest in Beema bamboo cultivation. We don’t have seeds for Beema bamboo, as Beema bamboo is cultivable, sterile (does not produce seeds and die). Once our Beema bamboo plant is planted, it will keep growing for several decades with no more replanting. Regarding Beema bamboo, the propagation is mainly by Tissue culture with genetic purity.
